Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in the Fort Myers, Florida area. This role involves working in a busy surgical environment with adult and pediatric patients across a variety of service lines including ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Spine, and Neurosurgery. The position requires providing high-quality patient care, participating in call rotations, and functioning as a vital member of the surgical team.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Myers, FL
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred; current BLS certification required; valid RN license; at least 2 years of OR experience, including pediatric OR experience; degree accreditation must be listed on profile or candidate must have 5 years of OR experience; prior travel experience highly preferred.
• Call Responsibilities: Call required, averaging approximately 4 calls per month; call shifts may include after-hours (7 PM - 11 PM), overnight (7 PM - 7 AM), or backup call (3 PM - 7 AM).
• EMR System: Epic electronic medical record system
• Additional Information:
  • Must load all demographic information at the time of submission including address, email, date of birth, SSN, and RN license number; incomplete profiles cannot be confirmed.
  • Floating required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses.
  • All Request for Time Off (RTO) requests must be submitted with the application; requests approved after submission are not guaranteed.
  • The organization values culture and welcomes travelers as core staff, functioning seamlessly within the unit.
  • Hard document submission deadline is Monday prior to start date.
