Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Ultrasound Technologist - Vascular

Shift: Nights, 7p-5:30a, 10x4, 40hrs/week, rotating weekends

Duration: 26 weeks

Requirements:

  1 year of experience

  Experience in transplants, dopplers, and renal artery stenosis
  
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  
  
  Performs abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and some vascular ultrasound exams

  Performs high level disinfection of ultrasound intracavitary transducers (e.g. Trophon EPR system)

  ARDMS, BLS

Other Details:

Assists physicians during sterile invasive procedures (e.g. amniocenteses, cyst punctures, thoracenteses, biopsies)

Shares on-call duties (24-hour coverage) with fellow sonographers after reaching minimum required expertise

Performs functions outside the Ultrasound Suite, including O.R., ICU, ED, and nursing floors using portable ultrasound equipment

Serves as team resource for technical information, training, and guidance

No local travelers accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from facility)

Travelers who have worked for this facility as perm or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted must be separated from facility for six months to be considered
