Maintenance PlannerSurventis Coatings division is a global expert in the development, production and marketing of innovative and sustainable automotive OEM and refinish coatings as well as applied surface treatments for metal, plastic and glass substrates in a wide range of industries. This portfolio is supplemented by "Beyond Paint Solutions", which enable new applications with innovative surfaces. We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of maintenance, repair, and construction work to ensure 24/7 operation of the chemical manufacturing process. This position will also serve as a backup to the maintenance supervisor at various times throughout the year.Your day-to-day:Troubleshooting operations problemsOrder repair partsManage the work order backlogPerform long-range and short-term planning of in-house and contractor labor, as well as cost estimatingEnsuring we have all critical spare parts and materials in inventory, and to ensure that expedited repairs are executed as efficiently as possibleHaving a keen focus on sustainability that allows you to support and adhere to the principles of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care®, EPA, and OSHA initiatives by protecting the environment, health, safety, and security of our employees, contractors, carriers, distributors, visitors, customers, and neighborsKnowledge of OSHA PSM regulations, ASME codes, and API codes is importantDemonstrating the competency of continuous improvement, you will analyze cost trends, use the techniques of Total Productive Maintenance, track key performance indicators, and maintain equipment historiesCoordinating with the procurement department, in-house and contractor labor, suppliers and technical representatives, and the plant production groupsUsing SAP for all the maintenance work order and procurement processes as well as maintaining critical SAP data such as functional locations, material masters, and maintenance plansThe Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project, is also a key tool for e-mails, databases, and reportingPlanning and scheduling the annual turnarounds of the various production plantsExpertise needed includes:High School Diploma/GED required; advanced degree preferredExperience with chemical plant production equipment highly preferredAt least 3+ years related expertise using SAP PM and MMIn depth knowledge of maintenance systems and equipment, planning, and schedulingAbility to read piping & instrumentation diagrams, engineering specifications, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and vendor-supplied technical informationMSProject, and Avetta software preferredUnderstand multiple crafts (mechanical, I/E, scaffolding, rigging, excavation) preferredPossess a good working knowledge of all crafts and a solid understanding of MPIDeal effectively with the unknown and unexpected and possess the ability to handle non-routine and emergency activities, such as schedule breakers, plant shutdowns, start-up, commissioning, etcEqual employment opportunitiesWe are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, age, citizenship, color, religion, sex, marital status, national origin, disability status, gender identity or expression, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
