Registered Nurse

Frye Regional Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced 355-bed acute care hospital in Hickory, NC. In this patient-centered, collaborative environment, you will assess and monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, and support safe transitions through education and discharge planning. RNs contribute to quality and safety initiatives while gaining exposure to diverse clinical cases and professional growth opportunities within a regional healthcare system. Responsibilities Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to diverse acute care patients. Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor status, and respond to changes in condition. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately. Document care and outcomes in the EHR in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams on care plans. Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions. Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards in all aspects of care. Participate in ongoing professional development, competencies, and unit-based initiatives.
