At West Melbourne Health & Rehabilitation Center, our team plays an important role in providing a positive dining experience for our residents each day. We're looking for a reliable and compassionate Dietary Cook who takes pride in preparing quality meals and helping create a welcoming environment for our residents.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve meals according to approved menus and dietary guidelines
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Ensure meals are prepared in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and daily sanitation duties
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work closely with the Dietary Manager and dietary team to provide excellent service

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred, especially in healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume food service
• Ability to prepare meals safely and efficiently
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English
• Compassion and respect for elderly and disabled individuals
