Network Engineer

Job Summary Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Bay Area, CA - Onsite. Duration : Long Term Contract We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in the Bay Area, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and Wi‑Fi configuration and deployment. This is an onsite contract opportunity requiring excellent technical troubleshooting and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise Wi‑Fi/WLAN networks. Manage wireless access points, controllers, SSIDs, authentication, and network connectivity. Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and wireless issues. Support network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and related devices. Perform network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. Analyze network issues and implement effective resolutions. Collaborate with IT teams and end users to resolve network‑related incidents. Maintain accurate network documentation and configuration records. Follow established network security, change management, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar network infrastructure role. Strong hands‑on experience with Wi‑Fi/WLAN configuration and troubleshooting. Experience configuring and troubleshooting wireless access points and wireless networks. Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching. Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work onsite in the Bay Area, CA. Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise wireless technologies and network controllers. Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience. Experience with network security and wireless authentication protocols.
