Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:30 - 06:30). Job Description The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides comprehensive care for women during labor and delivery, as well as during the antepartum, postpartum, and nursery phases. The nurse will facilitate a safe delivery experience and ensure both maternal and fetal health throughout the process. Responsibilities Circulate during C-sections and assist in high-risk deliveries. Monitor patients pre‑and post‑delivery and provide appropriate care. Perform assessments, noting vital signs and any issues regarding fetal heart rate patterns. Educate parents about childbirth, postpartum care, and breastfeeding support. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and float to other units as needed (Antepartum, Postpartum, PACU). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery. Must have experience circulating for C-sections. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, FHM, and NRP. Active NJ or Compact nursing license required upon submission. #J-18808-Ljbffr
