Job Responsibilities
- Craft Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and formulate tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving their functional milestones.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living tasks.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care.
- Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families in therapy techniques to promote continued progress at home.
- Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients on their path to recovery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy accredited by a recognized institution.
- Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
- Current OTR/L license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
