Provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cath Lab and electrophysiology (EP) units. Ensures patient safety, monitors vital signs, and assists with complex cardiovascular interventions. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Monitor patient condition continuously during procedures and record essential data.
- Assist physicians and specialized staff with invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained to meet safety standards.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery expectations.
- Document all clinical activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
- Hold a valid RN license for Georgia or a Compact state.
- Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab or EP setting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cardiovascular monitoring and invasive procedures.
- Display strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
- Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements for specialty practice.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
