Quality Inspection Supervisor

Quality Inspection Supervisor The Quality Inspection Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the inspection and testing of products to ensure they meet specified standards. This role involves managing a team of quality control inspectors, documenting inspection outcomes, creating Quality Alerts and sorting instructions, and training inspectors on inspection procedures. Responsibilities Supervise and lead the Quality Inspection Team. Inspect and test products to ensure quality standards are met. Document inspection outcomes and maintain accurate records. Identify and address recurring quality issues, creating and distributing Quality Alerts when applicable. Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Train and mentor quality control inspectors. Conduct regular audits and reviews of quality control processes. Fill in for inspectors when there are absences. Work with the Quality Engineering team to complete Corrective Actions and solve customer complaints. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a quality control or assurance role. Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of industry‑specific quality standards. High school diploma or equivalent; degree in a related field preferred. Ability to interpret technical documents and specifications. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of measurement techniques, tolerances, and inspection methods. Knowledge of Gauge R&R, MSA, GD&T, and Layered Process Audits. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
