Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor Westfield Quality Care of Aurora is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the facility's overall maintenance and upkeep. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Maintenance Department's programs and activities. Responsibilities Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the Maintenance Department, its programs and activities Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for Life Safety Code compliance Reviews department policies, procedure manuals, job descriptions, etc., and makes recommendations for revisions Prepares operating and staffing budgets for maintenance and monitors monthly Ensures maintenance staff are properly trained on safety policies and procedures Purchases maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment within budgetary responsibilities Oversees maintenance activities, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical work Ensures services performed by outside vendors are properly completed and supervised Develops and implements preventive maintenance tasks and procedures Schedules department work hours, personnel, and work assignments Assists in standardizing maintenance methods Ensures facility compliance with safety and building codes Reads and interprets blueprints to monitor upkeep of electrical, HVAC, and other systems Runs, operates, and assesses technical aspects of facility machinery, equipment, and buildings Requirements 0 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role Ability to read and interpret blueprints Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Life Safety Code Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off vision insurance Schedule Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Ability to Commute Aurora, NE 68818 (Preferred) If you are a motivated and experienced maintenance professional looking for a new challenge, please apply to this role.
