Now hiring: Counselor in Training | Direct Hire Location: Russellville, AR Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday-Friday | Shift: 8 AM-4:30 PM | Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Looking for a career with purpose? Requirements & Qualifications QBHP (Qualified Behavioral Health Professional) Certification required. Previous experience in a residential or outpatient addiction treatment setting required. Knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and behavioral health services. Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills. Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Experience facilitating or assisting with group counseling sessions preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Responsibilities & Job Duties Provide supervised client care and support within residential and outpatient addiction treatment programs. Assist with client assessments, screenings, and intake processes. Support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions under clinical supervision. Monitor client progress and communicate updates to the treatment team. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client documentation. Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, and interdisciplinary team collaboration. Educate clients on recovery resources, coping strategies, and relapse prevention techniques. Support a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment.
