Quick Facts: Location: Greenville, SC Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date: [Insert End Date or "Ongoing"] Shift: Flexible, outpatient and inpatient settings Hours/Week: Variable, based on schedule Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Active Medical License in South Carolina, Board Certified in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology preferred Experience: 2+ years in oncology practice preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $19.50/hour (plus travel reimbursed) Weekly pay via direct deposit Competitive pay packages, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and licensure/certification reimbursements Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Travel: Reimbursement for flights, hotel, rental car, or mileage at IRS standard rates Additional benefits: Professional liability insurance, ongoing support from dedicated team What You’ll Do: Manage outpatient and inpatient oncology patients in a dedicated cancer center Participate in tumor boards, treatment planning, and patient management Prescribe and administer chemotherapy with nurse oncologist support Order diagnostic tests and imaging studies as needed Provide consults for complex cases and manage hematology cases (benign and malignant) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cancer care Contribute to patient education and survivorship planning What You Need: Active medical license in South Carolina or willingness to obtain Board Certified in Oncology or Hematology-oncology (preferred) At least 2 years of oncology practice experience Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment: This position is based at a leading facility in Greenville, SC, a vibrant community with a robust healthcare infrastructure.
