JOB SUMMARY NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive materials) to detect and treat disease under the supervision of a physician. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides patient care and technical skills in the operation of nuclear medicine equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. - Radiology, Cardiology / Nuclear Medical Technician... Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks, specify in submittal.. Certificates Required: Must have combination on NMT and CT cert! NMTCB and CT; NMTCB and ARRT (CT); ARRT(N) and ARRT (R) or (CT); NMTCB and ARRT (R) Shift Times: 7:30a-4p... Number of cases per day: 6-8... Number of years of experience required: 2... Are First-timers accepted: Yes... Are weekends required? No... Is there any on-call: No... Is block scheduling permitted? Yes, the schedule is BLOCK SCHED MON-FRI... Are Locals accepted: Yes... Certification requirements: BLS is required... Which National/State certifications are required: ARRT and NJ License... Other Details: Exp in Adult OP clinics and nuclear cardiology, GE, gastric emptying, bone scans, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation, captopril, myocardial scans, and SPECT (Bone, Thyroid, and Cardiac imaging)... Unit Information: Outpatient clinic... Scrub Color: Any color scrubs... Charting: EPIC Charting...
