Senior Occupancy Planner

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. As Senior Occupancy Planner, you will be responsible for providing strategic occupancy planning expertise, leveraging a deep understanding of our client’s space supply and demand to develop scenario and occupancy plans for our client's portfolio in a designated region. Responsibilities Fostering relationships: Build and maintain relationships with Corporate Real Estate, Business Unit leadership, Corporate Finance group, Project management, Move coordination and facility management teams, and other occupancy planning team members. Driving optimal occupancy planning solutions: Manage the development of occupancy plans, sequence group‑level and individual moves, resolve planning issues identified during client planning sessions, align with corporate guidelines, recommend and enforce space policies, support site‑specific Planning Strategies with Senior Leadership, act as a Subject Matter Expert in the client’s workplace program, and lead in the Occupancy Planning and account team. Reporting: Familiarize with space utilization methods and the presentation of utilization data, prepare and update project status reports on actual versus projected seat demand at the building level, report on current supply and capacity, forecast inventory changes, and reconcile discrepancies from top‑down projections. Proactive: Ask the right questions to understand our clients’ underlying needs, work independently, multi‑task, manage time, and proactively develop innovative solutions with stakeholders to drive their implementation. Tech‑savvy: Use Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, cell calculations), Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint for presentations, CAFM/IWMS software, and AutoCAD to consolidate data and floor plans. A communication champion: Demonstrate excellent written and spoken communication, strong interpersonal skills, ability to translate complex ideas, and interact with executive‑level external and internal clients as part of a diverse, supportive, and talented team.
