Dishwasher

DESCRIPTION

The dishwasher's duties include washing plates, cups, utensils, pots, & pans thoroughly. A Dishwasher may also restock items, unload delivery trucks, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties, as needed.

Dishwasher Responsibilities:

• Clean & washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas.
• Preparing the kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
• Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
• Unloading and storing deliveries.
• Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.
• Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
• Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Food Handlers Certification
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Show to work on time

In November 2007, Brooks Bassler founded BB's with the original 1,100-square-foot restaurant at Montrose and Westheimer in Houston, Texas. It was the perfect starter! Bassler opened BB's with the intention of creating a unique brand. BB's would feature authentic New Orleans-style po' boys and Tex-Orleans cooking with a distinct menu, offered how and when customers wanted it: for dine-in, catering and take-out, and available for late-night dining as well as during traditional hours.
