Senior Level Technician

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, specializes in providing world-class service, repair and re-manufacturing in the areas of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos and mechanical components for various industries. Job Responsibilities Repair of industrial robotic components and PLC’s. Troubleshoot and identify root causes of robotics and electronic failures. Troubleshoot electronics to board level components. Solder through hole and surface mount components. Willing to train entry level technicians. Able to use basic hand tools. May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate. Additional Skills Programming experience with C++ a plus. Cable troubleshooting and building a plus. Experience with Profibus and CAN bus a plus. Qualifications 5+ years of experience repairing electronics. Must have experience with Fanuc, Motoman, Allen Bradley, and Siemens. Must have experience with Allen Bradey and Siemens ladder logic. Able to home and perform basic robotic programming. Complete understanding of a DDM, oscilloscope, function generator, variable power supplies and other lab test equipment. Effective communication and interaction skills needed. Excellent Organizational Skills Required. Valid Driver's License and good driving record required. Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check. Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and squat. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds (light hand tools, etc.) Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks. Benefits and Compensation Location: Warren, MI Compensation: Hourly rate base on experience level.
