Data Processing Design Engineer

Job Title Full‑Time Early Career Software Programmer – Flight Test Team, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics – Fort Worth, Texas. Location Fort Worth, Texas (Onsite). Position requires a US citizen and a Secret security clearance. The facility requires special access. Responsibilities Design, develop, integrate, maintain, and document tools and processes supporting the flight test data center. Recover, compute, and display flight test data using specialized digital electronic and data processing systems. Interface with hardware and software technical personnel to diagnose and resolve issues during data recovery. Work with PCM ground stations, telemetry ground stations, and specialized data processing equipment. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with databases and one of the C/C++/C# development environments. Desired Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative, team‑based environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with MATLAB, Visual Studio, networking or network monitoring, scripting, and avionics bus protocols (MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC‑429, IEEE‑1394, Ethernet, Fiber Channel).
