Scrub and circulate, maintain sterile technique, and assist with instrument handling, tissue handling, exposure, and wound closure as needed. Position and drape patients, support intraoperative patient safety, and assist anesthesia teams as appropriate. Monitor patient status intraoperatively, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with the surgical team. Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation, track counts, and assist with specimen handling and labeling. Float to the main operating room as needed to support surgical teams and maintain patient flow.
