Job description

Riley Industrial Services has immediate full-time permanent positions available for journeyman painters. You'll be required to sandblast & coat steel structures, pipe, I-beams, tanks, etc.
- Must have a valid driver's license (no interlocks, state ID's, etc.)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana)
- Minimum Qualifications:
  - High school diploma or equivalent.
  - At least 1 year of experience in painting and coating within industrial or commercial settings.
  - Basic knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating application.
  - Familiarity with safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
  - Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Preferred Qualifications:
  - Certification in industrial painting or sandblasting techniques.
  - Knowledge of environmental regulations related to coatings and abrasive blasting.
  - Experience with various coating systems including epoxy, polyurethane, and zinc-rich primers.
  - Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with maintenance of sandblasting and painting equipment.
