Role Summary: The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including the unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location. The LS is expected to represent TireHub professionally in all customer interactions, maintain safe driving practices, deliver exceptional customer service, and foster strong customer relationships. Compensation: Starting wage of $20.00 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment. Schedule: Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day shift hours. When we commit to a job, we get it done fast. Roles and Responsibilities Distribution of tasks: General Warehousing, Delivery Services, Vehicle Maintenance. Adjustments may be made as business needs evolve. Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles. Follows TireHub safety standards for selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders and positions them in designated locations using the bin locator system. Operates equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Participates in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of inventory control procedures. Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery transactions. Ensures vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical condition. Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and reports any operational issues immediately to the supervisor. Completes all driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly. Ensures compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures. Participates in ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules. Completes other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or leadership. For This Role, You Will Need: At least 1 year of general work experience. Valid driver’s license. Minimum of 2 years of driving history with a valid driver’s license (excluding driver’s permit). Must be 19 years old or older. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to repeatedly lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs, with or without mechanical assistance. Capability for frequent bending, twisting, and lifting. Multitasking in a fast‑paced environment. Accurate and efficient loading, unloading, and placing of tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles. Capacity to work up to 35 feet above ground level. Capacity to work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift. Adherence to traffic rules by safely driving TireHub vehicles to deliver tires. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with manifest, GPS, and navigation systems. Maintenance of forklift certification. Maintenance of a valid driver’s license. Working Conditions Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires up to 50 lbs or greater with or without mechanical assistance following standard operating and safety procedures. Regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance. May be required to handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment (gloves, eyewear, etc.). Adherence to vision requirements including close, distance, color, peripheral, vertical, and depth perception. Work and operate equipment in both non‑climate‑controlled warehouses and customer locations. Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required with little to no advanced notice. Driving during the night or in inclement weather may be required. Must not exceed 400 lbs in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height to meet equipment compatibility with safety restraints.
