Post Doctoral Scholar, Clinical Psychology - Comprehensive Cancer Center

Position Summary Post Doctoral Scholar to implement clinical interventions with people with cancer. The primary study involves implementation of a combined mHealth-telehealth symptom cluster (sleep, worry-anxiety, fatigue, depression) intervention for people with advanced cancer (1R01CA281885-04A1). This study will also examine the effectiveness of this intervention and the immune and hormonal biomarkers that affect symptom clustering. The second study involves a brief telehealth intervention with people with pancreatic cancer. Post Doctoral Scholar will collaborate with Dr. Wells-Di Gregorio on manuscripts, grants, and presentations. Additional responsibilities will include data analyses, collaboration with biomedical labs, and teaching/supervision of research staff. Because the grant involves delivery of psychological interventions and assessment of psychosocial outcomes in cancer populations, this position requires a clinical psychologist postdoctoral fellow (or an individual eligible for licensure as a clinical psychologist) to fulfill the responsibilities outlined in the grant. Postdoctoral researchers have the option to obtain additional clinical hours toward licensure if desired. Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. in clinical psychology with training or experience in health psychology.
