Order SelectorSalary Range $21.10 - $21.50 Hourly Level Experienced Position Type Full Time Job Shift Swing Education Level High School or GED Travel Percentage None Category Manufacturing & ProductionDescriptionPosition Summary:The Order Selector is responsible for safe operation of powered industrial equipment to include Long John pit jack, reach truck, sit down fork truck, order selector, and scissor lift. Sorts and stocks supplies/parts into proper storage containers and bins maintaining adequate inventory levels and verifying prefixes and part numbers.Responsibilities:Learning and understanding use of the RF gun to properly remove product from inventorySafely and efficiently fill sales orders for both local route and branch locationsStack products properly to allow for both pallet content verification and prevent damage to the loadWill be required to help maintain facility sanitation standardsFollows all safety rules and compliance with OSHA, FDA, and other state/government agenciesReports stock damage and spoilageMay perform related clerical duties, such as preparation of transfer slips, control of pick cards, and maintaining recordsMay be asked to perform other duties and/or work in other areas of the facility as neededQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPreferably a minimum of at least 6 months' experience in Warehouse OperationsMust have physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and work on their feet for extended periods of timeAbility to use computer terminal for basic inquiries and updating inventory levelsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledAt Farmer Brothers, we are committed to pay transparency and ensuring fair and competitive compensation for all employees.
