Pay Rate: $14.75 / Hour TWIC Required Driver's License Required Job Schedule: DayTimeTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking areas, and access points to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and restricted areas; verify credentials and follow visitor, contractor, and vehicle access procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures. Prepare accurate reports and maintain daily activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
