Loom Technician

Start your new career as a Loom Technician with MAU at Milliken-Gerrish-Pendleton in Pendleton, SC. As a Loom Technician, you will be responsible for setting and maintaining weaving machines to ensure the production of first-quality goods in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We Offer:

• Pay of $21.54 - $24.34 per hour

• 12-hour rotating shifts

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• High attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Adaptability to changing work environments
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot machine issues
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a loud, manufacturing environment
• Prior textile or machine technician experience is a plus

What You'll Do as a Loom Technician:

• Set weaving machines to proper specifications based on style requirements
• Monitor and maintain assigned weaving machines
• Diagnose and correct mechanical issues on equipment
• Perform Daily Team Maintenance (DTM) tasks
• Support general plant safety and follow company procedures
• Audit safety protocols and maintain cleanliness
• Provide relief coverage for weavers during breaks
• Climb, bend, and reach to maintain or repair machinery
• Use tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and measuring devices
