Job Description

Midland Client is seeking a:


Shop Helper/Assistant

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Teardown & Maintenance: Safely disassemble, clean, inspect, and service downhole tools and mud motors.
  • Surface Preparation & Painting: Prep and paint mud motors and related equipment to operational standards.
  • Tool Inspection & Monitoring: Perform routine daily maintenance and document tool inspections accurately.
  • Documentation: Complete and process all required maintenance paperwork and logs in a timely manner.
  • Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical maintenance.
  • Safety Gear: Must have steel-toe boots (additional PPE provided as required).
  • Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced shop environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy tools and equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor outdoors/in a shop setting.
