As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol a dynamic aviation-focused location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $27.95 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of aircraft manufacturing, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services when needed. Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
