As an EE, you will continue this legacy by supporting projects such as Multi-site system design and integration for OnTrac; National program for a leading Automated Singulation Solution; Pack-out system for ThredUP; Shipping System for Levi S trauss. Service Area and R esidence The EE role is hybrid remote/in-office, based in either of SilMan’s offices in Warren, Michigan, or Tupelo, Mississippi, to support SilMan’s national f footpri nt. Travel Travel will be required for this role, including, but not limited to, project sites, factory training, installation inspections, and system commissioning. Travel is not expected to exceed 35 % annually. What Does the Electrical E stimator Do? The EE is responsible for defining the scope for electrical installation projects. Working from conceptual layouts, equipment lists, and customer discussions, the estimator develops installation concepts, determines required electrical infrastructure, and prepares comprehensive proje ct estimates. This position is responsible for defining the electrical scope. Working from conceptual layouts, equipment lists, and customer discussions, the estimator develops installation concepts, determines required electrical infrastructure, and prepares comprehensive project estima tes, including Respond to customer RFQs and prepare estimates for industrial electrical instal ation projectsReview equipment layouts, specifications, and customer discussions to define projec t requirements.Develop electrical installation scopes from conceptual customer requirements where complete electrical drawing s do not exist.Collaborate with customers, project managers, and engineering teams to establish the basis of design for install ation projects.Determine power distribution, motor control, conduit, cable tray, wiring, grounding, and field installatio n requirements.Create Bill of Materials and labor estimatesIdentify scope gaps, assumptions, and engineering considerations during the quo tation process. What Makes You a Great Fit Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings, specifications, technical documentation, as well as RFP/ RFQ documentationExcel / Spread sheet proficiencyIn-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, installation methods, and relevant codes/stand ards (e.g., NEC).Familiarity with PLC systems, particularly Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platforms (understanding architecture, components, and estimating a ssociated costs). And hands-on experience and understanding w ith the following:
