Job Responsibilities

• Place and finish dental restorations (fillings) after the dentist prepares the tooth.
• Take accurate impressions for temporary crowns, bridges, and diagnostic models.
• Fabricate and place temporary crowns and bridges.
• Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments.
• Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as directed.
• Assist the dentist during procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments.
• Take and process radiographs.
• Maintain proper infection control and sterilization standards.
• Provide clear post-treatment instructions to patients.
• Chart treatment notes accurately and assist with updating patient records.
• Monitor inventory and prepare trays for procedures.
• Support front office team with patient flow and case coordination when needed.

Skills

Required Skills & Experience: One (1) - two (2) years of dental assisting experience required. Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and materials. Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. Preferred Skills & Experience: EFDA experience.

Education

Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Education: N/A Required Certifications & Licensure: Expanded Function Dental Assistant (CODA). X-Ray Certification. CPR Certification.
