Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient Clinic Location: CP Rochester – Winton Road Facility, Rochester, NY Salary: $61,600 – $78,000 per year for licensed SLP (commensurate with experience) Signing Bonus: $6,000 paid over time: 25% after 6 months, 25% after 12 months, 50% after 24 months Employment: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday during business hours; evening work may be required. Job Summary Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of speech and/or language disorders of individuals enrolled in or referred to CP Rochester, including assessments, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities Perform evaluations to determine the need for speech therapy services. Develop and implement treatment plans in clinic, outpatient, preschool, or school settings. Maintain confidentiality and comply with NYS Education Law/Practice Act. Consult with teachers, habilitation staff, and interdisciplinary team members. Coordinate with legal guardians, house staff, and parents as needed. Communicate with physicians and other medical personnel for evaluations and treatment. Complete all required paperwork, electronic health records, and documentation per agency policies. Participate in team meetings, program planning, research, and evaluation. Provide individual and/or group therapy at certified sites and off‑site locations. Provide in‑service education to staff, caretakers, and other groups. Assist in equipment maintenance and procurement. Adhere to agency policies, participate in committees, conferences, workshops, and training. Perform other duties as directed by the President/CEO or designee. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology. Active New York State License in Speech Pathology or eligibility for license. Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association preferred. Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred). Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills. Valid NYS driver’s license. Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office. Commitment to high‑level performance of job duties.
