Job Description

The Engineering Technician helps keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. This role supports the maintenance team by assisting with equipment repairs, learning troubleshooting skills, and helping ensure machines stay in good working condition. The position is important for meeting production goals and maintaining a smooth workflow on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance on machines, robotics, and facility equipment under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Troubleshooting support for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Equipment repair assistance including part replacements and simple diagnostics.
• Routine inspections and documentation of equipment conditions.
• Safety compliance and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• On‑the‑job training and participation in formal learning programs.

Work Environment

This position is located in a manufacturing facility working directly with production machinery. You’ll work with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC, PLC, robotic, and vacuum systems using standard hand tools and maintenance equipment.

Shifts are Monday–Friday with openings on:

• 2nd shift: ~3:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.
• 3rd shift: ~10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.
• Shift differentials apply.

The facility emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization. Employees also have access to on‑site wellness amenities such as a gym.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenfield, IN.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $68432.00/yr.
