Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor

Client Overview: Our client is an affordable Housing Agency in Fort Lauderdale. They are an established but growing organization looking to add a Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor to their team. There will be extensive travel (3 weeks every month). Salary/Hourly Rate: $85k - $90k Position Overview: The Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor will lead various maintenance staff across a portfolio of properties to ensure compliance with guidelines and inspections. The ideal candidate for the Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor role is organized, driven, and has a strong working knowledge of facilities and operations. Significant travel is required (3 weeks per month). Responsibilities of the Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor: Prepare a portfolio of properties for maintenance duties and compliance readiness. Train new hires and provide ongoing support to maintenance and property management staff. Take charge of compliance inspections and ensure all properties meet required standards. Teach new skills and best practices to current Property Managers. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external service providers. Maintain clear communication with support staff and leadership teams. Establish vision and strategic execution plans to improve property performance. Partner with government agencies to ensure compliance with affordable housing programs. Required Experience/Skills for the Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor: 7+ years of related experience. Experience with Affordable Housing Programs including Section 8, HUD, and LIHTC. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to travel extensively (3 weeks per month). Strong communication and vendor management abilities. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Property Maintenance Compliance Supervisor: Maintenance certifications are preferred.
