Compensation: $21.00–$23.00 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Support residents in assisted living and memory care with hands-on care rooted in dignity, choice, and meaningful daily routines. As a Certified Caregiver, you’ll help residents with personal care, dining, engagement, safety, and day-to-day support while watching closely for changes in condition.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

·   Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and eating.

·   Follow resident service plans, task sheets, preferences, and daily routines.

·   Observe and report physical, emotional, and cognitive changes in resident condition.

·   Provide companionship, cueing, purposeful engagement, and support with resident activities.

·   Support dining, hydration, nutrition, and resident meal preferences.

·   Follow infection control, safety, emergency, and resident-rights procedures.

·   Complete required documentation and promptly communicate concerns to community clinical leadership.

·   Support residents living with dementia using person-centered approaches and familiar routines.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

·   Comfort working as part of a collaborative care team.

·   Interest in dementia care, purposeful living, and resident-centered support.

RELATABLE EXPERIENCE

·   Assisted living, memory care, home care, or other direct-care settings.

·   Certified caregiving or resident-care roles supporting activities of daily living.

·   Healthcare, hospitality, or customer-service work requiring empathy, reliability, and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

·   At least 18 years of age.

·   Current Arizona Certified Caregiver (CCG) certification is required.

·   Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain.

·   Current negative TB test.

·   Ability to pass required background screening.

·   Ability to meet Arizona and local licensing requirements for the position.

·   Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday and lift or carry up to 50 pounds with assistance.
