Junior QA Specialist

Position Title: Junior QA Specialist Location: Habsiguda, Hyderabad Job Description: Our client is seeking 4 off-shore Junior QA Specialists to assist in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our data-driven applications and platforms. This role offers hands-on learning across Snowflake, Azure, and Selenium, alongside developing an understanding of ETL pipelines, data validation, and continuous integration environments. Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Execute test cases: Assist in writing and executing test plans for data pipelines, APIs, and web applications.

• 
  Run software tests: Conduct functional and regression testing to identify application bugs and system defects.

• 
  Support test automation: Help maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, PyTest, or equivalent tools.

• 
  Validate data data: Learn to check data transformations and business rules across Databricks and Azure Data Services.

• 
  Partner with teams: Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and senior QA members to understand quality standards.

• 
  Track software defects: Log production bugs and assist senior engineers in analyzing root causes.

• 
  Utilize frameworks: Implement existing automated testing frameworks across assigned product pods.

Required Qualifications:

• 
  1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing (internship experience considered).

• 
  Basic foundational knowledge of front-end testing and UI automation using Selenium/WebDriver.

• 
  Exposure to back-end testing, including writing basic SQL queries to validate database tables.

• 
  Familiarity with cloud concepts, ideally within Azure Data Services or Snowflake environments.

• 
  Basic understanding of API testing tools like Postman.

• 
  Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and basic test management tools like JIRA.

• 
  Strong eagerness to learn, problem-solving mindset, and sharp attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• 
  Basic scripting exposure in Python.

• 
  Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Power BI
