As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and a passion for delivering top-notch service. You will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to their original condition, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural repairsRepair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including bumpers, fenders, and doorsConduct frame straightening and alignmentReview each repair order, work order, and estimator's notes to understand repairs needed prior to beginning work on the vehicleAll repairs must be completed according to the documentation on the repair order or the supplementInspect and assess vehicle damage to determine repair requirementEnsure all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standardsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety protocols and proceduresCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisorsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar roleProficiency in auto body repair techniques and toolsStrong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and safety standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsValid driver's license and a clean driving recordASE or I-CAR certification is a plusBenefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement savings planOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesPositive and supportive work environmentJourneyman hourly pay rate of $33.40/hrYearly Tool Allowance
