OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist I provides patient centered service as an imaging technologist in Computed Tomography. Under the direction of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs CT exams and procedures with minimal supervision, at a technical level. The CT Technologist administers ionizing radiation for adequate diagnostic quality while abiding by ALARA guidelines and meeting all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate of JRCERT accredited school of Radiology. Licensure/ Certification: Radiology License Radiology Registration IEMA license in Radiography, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine Radiology Registration from American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Registry American Heart Association (BLS) Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
