Commercial HVAC Foreman

Job TitleHigh-quality HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide technical assistance and on-site training for team members.Assist Field Supervisor in evaluating skills and create development plans for each technician.Have superior customer relations skills.Maintain one of the cleanest vehicles and proper uniform.MSCA Star Certified. Take and complete the Star Certification Test.Assist and train the technicians in their communication with the customer.Provide for response to after hours and emergency service calls when the primary technician is unavailable.Be proactive when possible "warranty" or "credits" could arise.Ensure compliance of team members to all safety policies and procedures.Ensure all their quoted work is performed at or under allotted time.Consistently attend or teach union training courses for continued education.Be the technical "go to" for the Team Dispatcher in the Field Supervisors absence.Assist sales and quote department with technical information required.QualificationsExtensive HVAC field knowledge with minimum 10 years' service field experience.Extensive safety knowledge and training with minimum 10 years field experience.Effective oral and written communication skills.Strong computer skills a plus.Ability to organize and plan daily responsibilities effectively.Equal Opportunity EmployerAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
