Two enthusiastic and dedicated Special Education Teachers are sought—one for elementary and one for high school—working full-time from August through June near the beautiful surroundings of Enfield, NH. This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with students, families, and professionals in a nurturing educational environment and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of learners with special needs.

In this role, your compassion, adaptability, and creativity will shine as you develop individualized education programs and promote an inclusive, supportive classroom culture. You’ll have the opportunity to work 32 to 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with access to supportive colleagues and fulfilling challenges each day.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and assessing IEPs
• Knowledge of a variety of instructional methods suited to diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and fellow staff
• Ability to maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and participate in team meetings
• Previous experience in an elementary or high school setting is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction for students with diverse abilities
• Develop, review, and update IEPs in partnership with a dedicated team
• Foster positive relationships with students to cultivate self-advocacy and social development
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to support ongoing achievement
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and interdisciplinary staff
