RoadHouse Cinemas is excited to be opening our newest location in Sahuarita, Arizona! We are currently accepting applications and building our opening team.

Our anticipated opening is mid-November 2026 . Because we are currently in the construction and pre-opening phase, this timeline is an estimate and may change based on construction progress and other opening requirements.

We’ll be hosting a Hiring Fair on October 23 & 24 at our new location, 70 W Duval Mine Rd, to meet candidates interested in joining our opening team!

Job Summary

The Line Cook executes recipes and plate presentations to company specifications at an assigned station on a brigade-style line, working under the direction of the Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager. This role requires speed, consistency, and close coordination with other stations and Expo to ensure every dish leaves the kitchen correctly prepared, properly portioned, and on time. Line Cooks are expected to know their station(s) inside and out, communicate clearly under pressure, and support teammates across the line during peak volume. 

· Complete all assigned training and certifications within required timeframes.

· Demonstrate and maintain proficiency at all assigned stations.

· Set up, stock, and break down assigned station(s) per prep lists and station schematics before, during, and after each shift.

· Prepare ingredients for the station: chopping, portioning, cooking proteins, and building sauces to recipe spec.

· Cook and plate menu items on assigned equipment (grill, flat top, sauté, fry, pantry, etc.), matching recipe specifications and plate presentation standards on every ticket.

· Follow proper procedures to prevent cross-contact when preparing items for guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions.

· Read and execute orders from the kitchen display screen (KDS) or printed tickets, working through screens accurately and in the correct sequence.

· Time dishes so multi-item orders reach Expo together, using the KDS to track ticket age.

· Communicate station status, shortages, and timing clearly with the Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, and other stations throughout service.

· Monitor ingredient levels during the shift and request restocks before running out.

· Label, date, and rotate all prepped and bottled items following FIFO procedures.

· Complete required temperature logs and other food-safety documentation each shift.

· Maintain food quality, consistent portioning, and presentation standards across every ticket.

· Clean and sanitize station surfaces, cutting boards, and tools continuously throughout service; clean cooking equipment (grills, fryers, flat-tops, etc.) per schedule and at close of shift.

· Maintain a clean, organized kitchen overall — sweeping/mopping the line, wiping down shared equipment and surfaces, and taking out trash as needed.

· Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations at all times, including proper use of equipment and cleaning chemicals.

· Cover Expo duties when needed and understand the flow of all adjacent stations well enough to assist during peak volume.

· Maintain a professional, guest-first attitude with coworkers and guests.

· Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen leadership.

· Assist other departments when called to do so by store management.

Experience and Education:

• Ability to work on a brigade-style line.
• Familiarity with cooking techniques and cooking procedures.
• Food Handlers card (as required per location).

Overtime Notice: This position is employed by a motion picture theater. Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), employees of motion picture theater establishments are exempt from federal overtime requirements. As a result, employees in this position are not entitled to overtime premium pay (1.5× the regular rate) for hours worked over 40 in a workweek. Employees will be paid their applicable regular rate for all hours worked. 

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, 
• Stand, walk, climb stairs, balance;
• Use hands to grip, handle, feel, reach. 
• Use cleaning compounds and cleaning products.
• Exposure to hot and/or cold temperatures.                                        
• Lift 50 pounds at waist or shoulder level. Over 50 pounds requires usage of lift-assists.
• Requires normal color vision.
• This is a Safety Sensitive position due to the requirements of working with sharp tools and machinery.
