Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a permanent role with an area hospital where you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved or accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered or registry-eligible Radiologic Technologist. ARRT registration or eligibility highly preferred.
• Kansas license for Radiology Technology required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted from American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or American Heart Association BLS. BLS preferred to be current or completed within first 90 days of employment.
• Experience performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in hospital settings, including Radiology Department, Emergency Department, Operating Room, and bedside imaging.
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment, adjust exposure factors, and apply radiation safety practices.
• Weekend and holiday availability on a rotating basis as required by the schedule.
• Direct hire candidates only. Candidates who have applied directly to the facility are ineligible to be submitted via agency.

Position Summary:

• Perform diagnostic medical radiographic procedures for all patient populations from neonate through geriatric.
• Explain procedures and provide appropriate patient positioning to obtain optimum diagnostic images.
• Operate and adjust radiographic equipment controls to set exposure factors based on procedure and guidelines.
• Demonstrate effective radiation safety practices and assist Radiologists as needed.
• Work with various computer systems and imaging software on a daily basis.
• May perform additional duties as assigned by Radiology Supervisor or Director of Radiology.
• Primarily day shift with typical hours approximately 08001700. Weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
