Lead AWS DevOps Engineer - CDK & TypeScript

Salary: $65,000 - 102,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong, production-level proficiency in TypeScript with hands-on experience using AWS CDK for cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in GitHub Actions platform engineering, including reusable workflows, merge queues, self-hosted ARC runners on Amazon EKS, and secure OIDC cloud authentication.
• Proven experience implementing automated and emergency rollback strategies for AWS CDK and CloudFormation, along with progressive rollouts and bake-time gating.
• Familiarity with wave-ordered deploy-runners, Artifactory image promotion, and artifact signing processes.
• Solid working knowledge of Terraform for reading and debugging infrastructure definitions.

• We design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, TypeScript, and Python.
• We read, analyze, debug, and contribute to Terraform and AWS CDK infrastructure definitions.
• We engineer and scale GitHub Actions platform components, including reusable workflows, merge queues, self-hosted ARC runners on Amazon EKS, and OIDC cloud authentication.
• We implement and manage automated and emergency rollback mechanisms for AWS CDK and CloudFormation, including stack teardown, fix-forward versus rollback strategies, progressive-rollout pipelines, and bake-time gating.
• We build and operate CDK/CloudFormation deployment tooling, such as wave-ordered deploy-runners, and manage Artifactory image promotion and digital signing processes.
