If you have a passion for technology, enjoy working with hardware, working on your feet and with your hands, this is the position for you.Qualified candidates must be comfortable using computers, learning new software, and working on their feet in a physical warehouse environment.As a Material Handler, you will:Ensure all packaging such as cardboard and wraps are disposed of according to company policyAssisting in shipping, receiving, storage and distribution activities for the Data Center to include unboxing and boxing/crating of data center equipmentAssisting in inventory control, cycle count programs, de-trashing and breaking down materials & keeping the facility clean and organizedOperate manual or electronic/motorized material handling equipment. This equipment can include pallet jacks and forkliftsFrequent use of computers, scanners, and mobile devices used in the shipping, receiving, and inventory processesSchedule: Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pmThe ideal candidate will have:2+ years of experience in warehouse, material handling, or shipping/receiving environmentsForklift operation experience requiredStrong computer skills, including basic typing and proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Apple iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularlyAble to stand and walk for the majority of the shiftCapable of working independently and as part of a teamMust be able to pass pre-employment screeningsPay Rate: $25.20 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
