Material Supply Chain Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure continuous availability and timely flow of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies.
• Manage and coordinate open purchase orders and order scheduling activities.
• Monitor supplier performance using established KPIs and address performance issues.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding late orders, delivery confirmations, and other order-related issues.
• Review and take daily action on Material Requirements Planning (MRP) messages.
• Identify recurring material or supplier issues and escalate them as needed.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, materials, and other internal teams to resolve supply-related challenges.
• Prioritize tasks and manage multiple material-related activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support negotiations and supplier discussions when required.
• Maintain accurate records and communication using Microsoft Office applications.

Skills:

• 1–3 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Materials, Inventory, or a related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Purchase Order Management and Order Scheduling.
• Supplier Management and Supplier Performance Tracking.
• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, with equivalent experience considered.
