Finance Systems Analyst

Finance Systems Team (FST) provides first‑line technical support for all computer systems used by the Finance staff worldwide, including systems such as Elite 3E, Intapp time entry, Emburse, Enterprise Expense and Invoice, OneStream Budgeting and GL reporting, Paperless Billing (Nth Degree), Edicom, Einvoicing, eBillinghub, and BI reporting solutions based on Analysis Services (MDX/DAX) surfaced via SSRS reports and vendor‑developed dashboards. Responsibilities Provide timely and effective support of finance systems, liaising with Technology and vendor support teams. Communicate with users to understand process requests or technical issues, troubleshoot, and liaise with other teams and/or suppliers. Maintain finance applications configuration and core setups, understanding configuration from both technical and functional perspectives. Assist in the development of finance systems – robustly test new functionality, processes and setups and prepare related documentation for sign‑off. Maintain user and technical level documentation organized through the Finance Systems portal. Provide month‑end support to the global Finance Department and perform month‑end closing on a rotating schedule. Create regular and ad‑hoc client and firm‑specific reporting from various sources using MDX, Excel and SQL. Occasionally take on mini projects, attend project meetings, work with other departments in Finance and Technology as required, and keep the manager informed of progress and developments. Provide out‑of‑hours incident support as part of shared team mailbox rotation across time zones. Attend technical, personal development, cultural and soft‑skill training sessions as required. Ensure firm’s information security policies and procedures are followed at all times, complete security awareness training within a reasonable timeframe, and report any suspected breach. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of business professionals and attorneys. Team player able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, changing environment. Understanding of accounting systems and how the multi‑company, multi‑currency paradigm works. Strong analysis and technical skills around report writing and troubleshooting of application issues. Preferred Qualifications T‑SQL to an advanced level. Core Elite 3E data structure knowledge. Reporting services experience (SSAS/MDX). E‑billing expertise. Legal or professional services sector background. OneStream & VB.NET coding knowledge. Education, Certifications, and/or Experience Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant finance systems experience, preferably in a legal or professional services background. Experience with management of third‑party suppliers. Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combination of education and work experience. Hours Core hours Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m., including one hour for lunch. Flexibility to work overtime and support global users as needed. Salary and Benefits Base salary ranges (USD) based on location: D.C., Northern Virginia, Los Angeles: $100,000 – $125,000 per year; Denver: $92,000 – $120,000; Colorado Springs: $90,000 – $115,000; Baltimore: $95,000 – $120,000.
