Senior Project Engineer – Capital Projects
Charles City, Iowa (Relocation Assistance Available)
$140,000 - $150,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus
Kelly Engineering is partnering with a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Project Engineer – Capital Projects. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to lead facility and capital improvement projects while working alongside an experienced engineering team in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
• Lead capital projects involving facility upgrades, equipment installations, and manufacturing infrastructure improvements
• Develop engineering calculations, estimates, drawings, and project documentation
• Manage project budgets, schedules, purchase requisitions, and contractor activities
• Maintain vendor and contractor relationships throughout project execution
• Collaborate with engineering leadership on project prioritization and workload balancing
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering staff
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years of capital project experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and vendors
• Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
• Pharmaceutical, chemical, or other regulated manufacturing experience
• Experience supporting facility, utility, equipment installation, or infrastructure projects
