Job Summary

Join our dedicated nursing team in Clarkston, Washington, providing expert care within a dynamic Outpatient Services environment. This role focuses on the comprehensive perioperative patient journey, from pre-operative assessment and education through post-anesthesia and Phase II recovery.

The successful candidate will float across various outpatient areas, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and the Pre-operative Clinic, while also supporting conscious sedation procedures. This position requires strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to recognize and manage post-operative complications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for perioperative patients across Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Pre-operative Clinic.
• Perform thorough pre-operative assessments, patient education, and preparation for surgical procedures.
• Monitor and manage patients during post-anesthesia recovery (Phase I and Phase II), ensuring stable vital signs and pain management.
• Identify and promptly respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
• Assist with the monitoring and care of patients undergoing conscious sedation for special procedures.
• Float as needed to support staffing needs across the entire Outpatient Services area.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills in Pre-operative, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Phase II recovery.
• Ability to float effectively within a multi-specialty outpatient setting.
