Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with physical impairments using evidence-based techniques
- Develop personalized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic medical records
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in Maryland or compact privilege
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent PT experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Education
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric rehabilitation
- Proficient in therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
