Job Description

Agentic Client Support Services is seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced Direct Support Manager to oversee daily operations at our residential group home in Barberton, Ohio.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is organized, professional, and passionate about providing quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities.

This position requires someone who can effectively manage staff, maintain compliance, ensure proper documentation, and create a safe, supportive, and structured home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned residential group home.

• Supervise, support, and provide direction to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

• Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate shift coverage.

• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.

• Ensure individuals receive appropriate care and support according to their Individual Service Plans (ISPs).

• Monitor medication administration and ensure accurate completion of MAR documentation.

• Ensure daily progress notes, EVV records, and other required documentation are completed accurately and on time.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable Ohio DODD requirements.

• Report incidents, concerns, and behavioral changes promptly.

• Ensure the home remains clean, organized, safe, and properly maintained.

• Assist with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing development.

• Maintain professional communication with families, guardians, healthcare providers, and management.

• Address staffing concerns and ensure accountability among team members.

• Provide direct care and assist with shift coverage when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of Ohio DODD regulations and residential services preferred.

• Experience with medication administration, MAR documentation, and EVV systems preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and resolve problems independently.

• Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Current CPR/First Aid and applicable medication administration certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain required certifications.
