$18.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience)

American Liquidations is excited to open our newest retail location in Bristol, CT, and we're looking for friendly, energetic Retail Sales Associates to help us launch our newest store.

Over the past five years, American Liquidations has grown from a small startup into one of the Northeast's largest distributors of wholesale return and overstock merchandise, with more than 80 employees across multiple locations. Our stores receive an ever-changing selection of merchandise from major retailers, including home goods, clothing, electronics, tools, seasonal items, furniture, toys, and much more. No two days are the same, making this a fun and fast-paced environment for people who enjoy variety and helping customers discover great deals.

Position Overview

As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll play an important role in creating a positive shopping experience for every customer. Whether you're assisting at the register, stocking merchandise, helping customers find products, or keeping the sales floor looking its best, you'll be part of a team that takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the shopping experience
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
• Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and promotions
• Restock merchandise and maintain organized displays
• Recover the sales floor throughout the day to keep the store clean and inviting
• Assist with receiving and putting away merchandise
• Help customers load larger purchases when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily store goals

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, grocery, hospitality, or sales experience is preferred, but not required
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting merchandise throughout the day
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Team-oriented mindset

Schedule

• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
• Day, evening, and weekend shifts
• In-person position at our new Bristol, CT store

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
