Endodontic Dental Assistant Full-Time

Foundation Endodontics is looking for a dependable, compassionate Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing specialty practice. If you have dental assisting experience and want to expand your clinical skills in endodontics, this is an opportunity to work closely with experienced endodontists and build specialized expertise. Endodontic experience is a plus, but qualified dental assistants with general dentistry experience are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the endodontist chairside during procedures, including root canals, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other endodontic treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures.
• Anticipate the doctor's needs and provide efficient chairside support throughout treatment.
• Take high-quality dental radiographs in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and treatment areas following infection-control protocols.
• Prepare patients for treatment and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit.
• Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and answer routine questions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Keep operatories clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Coordinate with the front-office and clinical team to keep patient flow running smoothly.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and practice procedures.
• Assist with other clinical duties as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Dental assisting experience in a general or specialty dental practice preferred.
• Endodontic experience is a plus, but not required.
• CDA or RDA certification preferred, where applicable.
• Current/valid dental X-ray certification as required by Texas regulations.
• Familiarity with dental instruments, procedures, radiography, and infection control.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude.
